Overview
Introduction: We are seeking an Intermodal Operations Manager to lead our intermodal transportation operations. This role is key to optimizing our freight movements and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries across the U.S.
Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day intermodal operations and logistics
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with railroads, steamship lines, and third-party providers
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Skills:
- Extensive experience in intermodal logistics and operations management
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with transportation software and logistics platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
